SIDEC has collaborated in the development of the highway network of the country with the design, fabrication and erection or more an then seventy steel bridges for highways and railroads off all types, in accord with international specifications or special client requirements.SIDEC has built bridges from 10 m to 200 m free span, for one, two or more traffic lanes, has designed and built all types of steel bridges such as: plate girders with and without composite action, tied arches, hinged arches, trusses with upper roadway, through trusses, suspension bridges, etc.Bridge construction is one of the SIDEC’s special fields.

In the field of industrial installations SIDEC has provided design, stress analysis and construction of different types of reinforced concrete structures or steel structures including foundations works, infrastructure, superstructure and finishes, such as buildings, aircraft hangars, covered steel structures for sport events, factory installations, space structures and plane frames. SIDEC S.A. also taken part in the fabrication of metal towers for microwave communications, transmission towers, lighting towers, elevated water tanks, overhead cranes, floating docks and port installations.All these products are elaborated under the pertinent technical specifications such as ASTM, API, AASHTO, ACI, ASME, AWS, AWWA, INEN, JIS, Ecuadorean Building Code, etc.
